WASHINGTON -- Georgetown womens basketball coach Keith Brown has resigned after an investigation into unprofessional conduct and inappropriate language as alleged by some of his players. Georgetown announced Browns resignation Thursday, citing a school policy that stresses the importance of "providing an environment for student-athletes that is safe, supportive, and founded upon the values of integrity, respect, care, honesty and professionalism." The school began looking into the allegations three weeks ago, and last week announced that Brown and assistant coach Tim Valentine had been placed on administrative leave.
