MIAMI -- Defending champion Cruz Azul of Mexico will open CONCACAF Champions League play in Group 6 with Alajuelense of Costa Rica and Chorrillo FC of Panama. Cruz Azul won its record sixth title in April, beating fellow Mexican club Toluca.
